Tina Maples has been an assistant entertainment editor at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for about five years. She supervises the pop music and TV beats, works with a great team of writers and puts out four entertainment sections a week: a.k.a. the daily Cue section. A Wisconsin native, graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the embarrassed owner of two stupid wiener dogs, Tina started working at the pre-merger Milwaukee Journal right out of college as an entertainment g.a. After 8 years of writing features as well as theater, movie and pop music reviews, Tina magically transformed into the pop music critic. Five years and a few ringing ears later, she became an editor and started typing all over other peoples’ writing. And she hasn’t stopped since.
