The Tacoma News Tribune is looking for a restaurant critic/food reporter

 The News Tribune in Tacoma, Washington, has an immediate opening for a restaurant critic- food reporter. Located in the shadow of Mount Rainier and on the shores of the South Puget Sound, the area’s dining scene ranges from traditional American and deli-style to sophisticated seafood and vibrant ethnic cuisine.
 
The critic-reporter must love food and be deft at explaining it to the gastronomic expert and novice alike. Must have experience producing well-written food criticism and local food features with authority, insight, accuracy and wit. Must adhere to professional guidelines for food review/criticism and have a track record of working a beat.
 
A major component of the job will be to produce the local dining blog, TNT Diner, which has a dedicated, knowledgeable and inquisitive audience.
