The Columbus Dispatch, the major metropolitan daily in Ohio’s capital, seeks a full-time Home & Garden reporter.

 The reporter works a beat, collecting and analyzing information about central Ohio’s housing, real-estate and gardening trends for news stories. The reporter writes for a Sunday Home & Garden section and will also be expected to contribute to A1 and other news sections. The reporter must learn the beat thoroughly and help set the newspaper's agenda for home and gardening coverage.

 A minimum of three years of experience on a daily newspaper other than a college publication. A college degree is preferred. Must be knowledgeable or willing to learn quickly about housing and gardening issues.
