The Fayetteville Observer seeks a page designer/copy editor with a demonstrated flair for features pages to join the universal desk. We want someone who can surprise us every day with bold, beautiful and content-driven pages. The ideal candidate will be someone who excels in features but who wants the chance to grow and work in news, special sections and other sections. Strong copy-editing skills are a must.
 
Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a plus. Some night/weekend work likely. Our 62,000-circulation paper has won first-place, statewide awards in both news and features design. Fayetteville is located between the Atlantic coast and Raleigh. Independently owned, we cover Fort Bragg, one of the nation's largest Army bases, and a 10-county region.
